Thankful Thursday

I've been having a rough week but getting lots of snuggles. Those snuggles let me check out one thing I am thankful for,  a few random BRIGHT RED hairs on this sweet head, I don't know why he has them or where he got them but I always thought I would have a red head! He also has a couple of black hairs.. it's so crazy but I do love finding random colored hairs in his WHITE hair!

I am also thankful that after this weekend the 9 bins of kids clothes in our garage will be GONE! Whatever I don't sell this weekend is going to the consignment store that donates what doesn't sell. I am pretty sure hubby is ready to have some more room in the garage!

I am also thankful tomorrow is FRIDAY and hubby will be home for a few days before we do this whole thing over again next week!

TV Stand Makeover

We got this cute TV stand from a friend, and as soon as I saw it I knew I could use it to manage the dress up stuff all over the floor!

They gave it to us for free and we spent about $1 on PVC and less than $2 on the closet bracket things.. so for $3 and a few new chips in the stairway paint we turned it into this:

I still have a little work to do, some L brackets to keep the bottom piece on and I think some vinyl or something to make it a little more girly! And I need to attach it to the wall (just to be safe)!

She is already LOVING it, and can't wait for her little besty to come play! And big brother loves to organize, he helped her hang all her stuff up! We moved the play kitchen to little brothers room (he plays with it more than the other 2)

I am sure it will get a few more changes as we get used to it. I hope to be posting more as things HOPEFULLY slow down just a little!

Thankful!

The last 2 weeks have felt hectic and crazy and at times VERY irritating! Just wanted to show off the things I am thankful for today! Other than the usual, you know, Hubby, kids, family all that!

First

I don't know HOW many times the baby has tried to climb the stairs, his big sisters room and stuff is just too tempting!

The second thing I am really REALLY thankful for right now is

How easy it is to unlike pages on facebook! I feel like I have way way too much life clutter and I have been using this a lot! I don't need the daily push to buy stuff for our kids just because the stuff is cute, Gymboree, Janie and Jack and most of the other clothing sites I unliked, not that I don't like them, I just don't need them!

And on that same subject 

That one is a little harder to do, because I don't want to hurt any ones feelings, but I just don't talk to them at all, and don't have anything in common other than being from the same class it just isn't for me.

Majorly thankful for this

because sometimes you just have to get away from certain people! I am not talking about my kids or hubby, but sometimes we end up in a room with 1 or more people that just make you wanna scream. Times like that I am very appreciative that we have 2 cars and can afford to go for a little drive to give my poor ears a break!

I have used this SO many times the last 2 weeks, a total lifesaver!
