Organizing Friday!

It's Baaaaaack!

Finally!

Well this is the first Friday in a long time where I have a plan to organize something!

The Pantry isn't horrible after the holidays but it's easy and I am easing back into things!

It is also in line with my GOALS! Financially, I won't be buying something we already have. Home goals, I will be working on our stock pile by KNOWING what we have. My goal to lose this last 15 pounds will likely be a little easier if I can make sure we have HEALTHY snacks in the pantry.
Here is what happens when kids are home for 3 weeks!

I also cleaned up and out 2 cupboards a couple weeks ago. One I don't think I had opened in a year! So I moved the pots and pans and the cookie sheets to a smaller cupboard and it made a TON of room in one of the big ones. I am going to finish moving some stuff around and see if it works better for us!

I should  have some pictures of it looking MUCH better next Friday and another area to fluff!

Friday!!! Finally

This week of getting back in the swing of things has gone well as far as keeping house goes, but that whole balance thing still isn't happening, I've only been to the gym once and we didn't do much "fun" stuff this week.

I'd like to blame it on being super busy but I'm just not good at getting it ALL done.

Spending this week getting the house fluff done will for sure make it easier though!

I didn't get to organize anything really today, I was home for 1 hour before dinner, I don't know how workin' mamas get anything done!!

I tidied up the pantry a little, no major overhaul or anything. Looks the same as before but with groceries now!

And now I can see I really need to re attach some of that shelf liner!

Maybe next Friday, as long as next week goes as planned!!

Happy Groundhog Day!

Today has been wonderful here! Our big guy turns 6 today, Phil did NOT see his shadow (yay Spring), we have NO snow! It is sunshiney and cold and I think I might finally be on track to be done with birthday stuff in time, without stressing!

Then all this talk about Spring made me think about Spring cleaning.. ick!

I am sure my cleaning list will change again this year, but I saw these and KNOW they would help out with our pantry!

No more shuffling around to find the soonest to expire!!

But I think I might try to make some out of wood before I spend the crazy asking price on these!

And I need to finish off another shelf with the oil cloth in our pantry and pick up some more canisters on our next Ikea trip. None of this has to happen now, but if I don't start my list now it will be time to start working on stuff and I won't know what all I need to do!

And I NEED to get back into organizing every Friday, haven't done it in a few weeks, this Friday I am sure I won't get to it since I have a huge to-do list for birthday stuff... our kitchen is SO messy with Birthday stuff right now.. seriously about 60% of our counters are covered, when usually we have clutter free counters! It's been making things a little difficult here and I am ready for it to happen and get out kitchen back!
